Allycia & Sam’s Colourful Byron Bay Love Fest

Allycia and Sam were married at the beautiful Figtree Restaurant. They were supposed to get married at the beginning of February, but they were stopped at Sydney airport when all flights were cancelled due to the floods.

I remember calling Allycia a few days before to see how they were traveling and they’d just been told they nor any of their guests could make it up here due to cancellations. Tears were shed.

But as we’re so trained in this these days, we all banded together and postponed their date to June. And as you can see they had stunning dry weather and a super fun day.

Here’s their love story…

There aren’t many people on this planet who can say their connection was instant but in the epic love story of Allycia and Sam, that’s exactly how it began.

It was a lovely sunny day way back in 2014, as Sam made his way to Allycia’s place for a get to know you drink, he hoped she’d be impressed not only by his charming smile and outstanding wit, but as he’d picked his very best Skull T Shirt to wear, he knew she wouldn’t be able to resist him.

When Sam knocked and Allycia opened the door the first thing she noticed was the ginormous skull that was printed on his T – Shirt, and thought, well that’s different!

Then she noticed his cheeky little smile but the skull was right there, kind of joining them on the date, then he smiled again, so she let him and she poured him a drink.

The alcohol settled their nerves and they chatted with ease and laughed with each other and at each other, and when the drink was done Allycia knew she had to immediately debrief with one of her bestie’s, and she packed Sam on his way.

As Sam left Allycia’s he knew, hewanted that gorgeous woman with the beautiful sparkly pair of blue eyes, in his life, so he mentally made a plan ensuring he would see her again.

Meanwhile at Allycia’s friends placethey unpacked the date real quick, Allycia had such a good feeling inside her heart about this guy.

Could he possibly be the potential she was looking for?

It could’ve been his cheeky smile, or charming wit, it could’ve been the Skull T – shirt but right and then Allycia decided Sam was the one for her. She turned to her mate and said Hell Yes, I’m going for it.
