Victoria Armstrong | Marriage Celebrant

Celebrating love since 2018

Truly I am so happy you’re considering me as your Celebrant, it would be an absolute privilege to share in this monumental moment in your relationship so far, and assist you in creating the marriage ceremony of your dreams!

While I always recommend chatting with me first to ensure we’re all aligned, here ‘s a little more insight into my style that may help guide your decision-making process;

What is your Celebrant style?

It’s fun, loving, warm and romantic with just as much meaning and sentimentality as you both want.

There are absolutely no boring bits in my ceremonies, in fact many of the guests come up to me afterwards saying ‘this was the best wedding ceremony they had ever seen’. But, it’s not just me that makes it that way though – we do it together.

I’m also very relaxed in my approach, coming from a fast paced project management career of almost 20 years, I learned the power of the breath, there’s nothing I can’t handle in the moment. I have a knack for absorbing my couple’s stress, to make the moment completely relaxed so you can concentrate on one another and not worry about anything else going on around you.

What type of ceremonies do you create?

My little trick is being able to listen to you both, and together we create a ceremony where all of your guests will walk away swooning for your love story, and saying ‘that was so them!’

I do this by asking you all the right questions. I’ve performed over 300 wedding ceremonies and I feel really comfortable in my ability to make your wedding ceremony exactly what you both want, with zero cringey bits and maximum love.

I studied creative writing at University majoring in screenwriting so I like to write your story like a movie, with little twists and turns to keep you and your guests on the edge of their seats – we know you get together in the end but how did it happen.

Truth bomb… If you’re looking for something extremely traditional and stoic then I’m definitely not the Celebrant for you – I have been known to laugh out loud or even cheer for your love mid ceremony, more than once.

So What's Next?

Once you choose me as your Celebrant and you pay your booking fee, your date is secured.

You are then added to my CRM (client relationship management) System which includes a carefully thought out professional workflow process (including some tips for inspiration) so we don’t miss a beat along the journey, and you can marry without a worry in the world.

There are a few of things you need to know first off;

  • You must be over 18 years of age;
  • You cannot be related – brother or sister, parent or grandparent;
  • You cannot already be married, to anyone, including one another;
  • You must lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage with me no more than 18 months and no less than 1 month out from your wedding date;
  • You will need to prove your Name, Date of Birth and Birthplace – you do this by showing me your passports OR your drivers licence and birth certificate;
  • If you’ve been married before I will need to see proof that you are no longer married (these last 3 points are things I will guide you on).

Long gone are the days of boring marriage ceremonies, these days ceremonies truly depict the two people standing up the front, and I absolutely love that I’m the person who helps to make it so.
